Registration money goes from a family's card to your bank, with the platform fee taken out on the way. Stripe handles it, and connecting takes about five minutes once you have a few things in hand.
It's on your league dashboard, and it's also the first item on your Get Started checklist. You don't need a Stripe account first: the button creates the one that receives your payouts.
Stripe asks for an email and mobile number, what kind of organization you are, who is signing, and the bank account for payouts. If you already use Stripe elsewhere, you can sign in to prefill your details, but payouts for registrations go through this new account.
The Payments card switches to Connected, usually within a minute, and shows the bank it will pay. You can start taking registrations straight away.
Every registration is divided at the moment a family pays: the platform fee to Leagues, the rest to your Stripe balance, which pays out to your bank about two business days later. There is nothing to invoice and nothing to reconcile.
The family pays
$60
By card, on your public page. If you pass the platform fee through, they see it as a separate line and pay a little more; if you absorb it, they pay exactly your price.
Leagues keeps
$4
The $1 + 5% platform fee, never more than $15 per player. It comes out at payment time, so you never get a bill for it.
Your bank receives
$56
Paid out by Stripe about two business days after the payment. Your Stripe balance always shows what is actually yours.
From the registration itself, in your dashboard, not in Stripe. The money goes back to the family's card, including the fee share, and the registration is marked refunded. Partial refunds work the same way.
Stripe wants one more thing, usually a document for the person who signed the form, such as a photo ID, or a confirmation of the business's EIN. Press "Open Stripe Dashboard" on the Payments card and it says exactly what. Payments resume as soon as it's accepted, and anything paid in the meantime is held in your balance, not lost.
"Open Stripe Dashboard" on the Payments card takes you to your account's Express dashboard: balance, every payout, and downloadable statements for your bookkeeper. Your Leagues dashboard shows the same balance and the next payout date.
Yes, in the Express dashboard under payout settings. Stripe verifies the new account with a small deposit before switching payouts to it.
No. Stripe moves it from the family to your account; Leagues never holds your funds and cannot touch your balance. The platform fee is the only part that goes elsewhere, and it's taken by Stripe at the moment of payment.
